Hello to our friends and family!!!
As you may or may not know, Claudia is diagnosed with Autism, Soto's Syndrome, and most recently, Celiac Disease. While this was overwhelming at first, when we joined the Alexander Leigh family, our lives changed for the better. Not only has Claudia grown leaps and bounds, but they changed our family life and it is stronger then ever. And we owe it all to ALCA. ALCA recently purchased a new "forever home" and this is where Claudia's future will be for many, many years to come. However, the school has not hit their overall goal to open up for the kids in a few weeks. Please continue to read for more information.
While Eric and I are very weary about asking others for donations, this school is near and dear to our heart. So we thought we would just throw it out there! With that being said, THANK YOU SO MUCH for considering and if nothing else, just say a prayer that we raise enough money in the next few weeks.
We've formed a team to support the expansion of the school to accommodate 25 - 30 new students while continuing to accommodate our current students. The renovation will create additional classrooms, therapeutic rooms, and vocational centers to even better serve our students. We'd love your support as we grow. If you want to do more than make a donation, join our team!
Every donation brings us closer to completion of this project. ALCA continues to change the lives of our students and their families. Please support our team today and you will change the lives of our students and their families.
ALCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, full day, year-round therapeutic day school approved by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) for children 3-21 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), OHI, multiple disabilities, developmental delay and/or intellectual disability. ALCA currently serves students from Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, McHenry, and Will counties.
