Thank you so much for considering support of CAC's 7th Annual Champions for Children 5K Walk!

By walking or pledging you will become a voice for children who have been traumatized by child sexual abuse or severe physical abuse. Your support will allow CAC to continue to provide a safe, comfortable and supportive atmosphere for children and their families as they begin the healing process after abuse.

The 5K Walk is designed to boost awareness about the FREE programs and services offered to children and families affected by abuse in 38 suburban communities within North and Northwest Cook County. The Walk will take place at CAC's main office location in Hoffman Estates. In additional to goodie bags and t-shirts, walkers of all ages will enjoy music by DJ Charizma, children's games, face painting, balloon artistry and much more! Refreshments will also be provided.

Established in 1989, CAC serves more than 650 children and their families each year. The CAC coordinates the investigation of reports of child sexual abuse and severe physical abuse to help bring sex offenders to justice and provides support and recovery for child victims and non-offending parents and caregivers. A 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, CAC provides all services free of charge.
