A message from FIGHT FOR PHIL
On Saturday, Feb 10, 2024, hundreds of us will choose to jump in icy ocean water as an act of solidarity with our local pALS. We embark on a meaningful initiative to support People with ALS (PALS) and honor the memory of our beloved father, brother, and uncle, Phil Barretti.
Phil Barretti was not only a loving father and husband but also a resilient fighter who demonstrated incredible strength throughout his life, particularly in his battle against ALS. In his memory, we have decided to participate in a special event to raise awareness and funds for those currently living with ALS.
ALS, or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, is a devastating neurodegenerative disease that affects individuals and their families in profound ways. The challenges faced by PALS are immense, and our goal is to contribute to their well-being and the ongoing research for a cure.
