A message from Michelle Donofrio
On Saturday, February 8, 2025, hundreds of us from Monmouth County (many being some of my closest friends!) will plunge into the freezing waters at Manasquan beach. This is the 18th year of the Plunge and the 15th year I'll be participating (those damn London years ruined my perfect attendance!)
We Plunge to raise money and awareness around ALS. Our Lafayette crew has plunged each year in remembrance and celebration of Mr. O'Neill, my dear friend Pat's father whom passed away in 2007. Pat, his brother, and his entire family have turned tragedy into our greatest annual reunion as dozens of us travel from all over the country each year to be together, laugh, remember, and raise funds to help families battling this disease.
We appreciate all donations and even more than that, if you're in the area (12PM sharp!), come and cheer us on! The spirit and comradery of hundreds of people all coming together for the same reason is contagious! You'll leave feeling good and uplifted despite the cold.
The "plunge" we're asking you to make doesn't involve freezing cold water -- but it will make a big splash in the lives of our PALS. Simply click the "Donate" button above to make a secure online donation today.
Thanks for joining the family!
