A message from Teresa Capretta

In August of 2022 my dad was diagnosed with ALS. On May 2, 2024, he ended his courageous battle. ALS brings very challenging circumstances, but The Joan Dancy Foundation was a great support system and provided us with resources we would've never known were available. This year, we will continue to plunge in honor - raising awareness, funds, and eventually a cure for this devastating disease. Any donation is appreciated to help support those living with ALS.

On Saturday, February 7th, 2025, hundreds of us around Monmouth County and beyond will choose to jump in icy ocean water as an act of solidarity with our local pALS (people with ALS) because they are conquering immensely greater fears every minute of every day.
