Sometimes the holidays bring the question of finding meaningful gifts for those we love. The Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society (LAHAS) has the solution. Lights of Love, now in its 39th year, provides the opportunity to remember and honor the people who have impacted our lives. Such recognition is especially meaningful and appreciated during the holidays.
For a recommended $8 donation per name, you can remember family members and friends who have passed away but whose influence you will never forget. You can also honor the people who bring meaning and joy to your life now.
Remembering and honoring loved ones with a Lights of Love light is a cherished holiday gift. As a donor, you may request a handwritten Memory or Honor Acknowledgment be mailed or emailed to the people you designate. Acknowledgments are sent soon after forms and donations are received.

The Lights of Love project culminates at Light Up Night on Tuesday, December 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Robindale Auditorium, 1501 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, PA (former Latrobe Elementary School). Handicap parking and an ADA ramp are at the Ligonier Street entrance to the property. The evening will include holiday music, the Ceremony of Remembrance and Honor, live streaming of the illumination of the Lights of Love tree on the plaza of Latrobe Hospital, and light refreshments. All donors, honorees and their families, and the public are invited to attend.
Names of all donors and the people they remember and honor will be published in an online Honor Roll Book posted on the Latrobe Area Hospital Aid Society Facebook page at https://www.facebook.LatrobeAreaHospitalAidSociety beginning December 8, 2026. Forms and donations received by November 24, 2025, will be included in the online Honor Roll Book. Those received after this date will be in the online Honor Roll Book Addendum.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. In the Personal Note field below, write the name(s) of the person/people gifting the Lights of Love light.
EXAMPLE: Mary Jones completes this online form, but the light is from Mary and John Jones. Write 'Mary and John Jones' in the Personal Note section.
2. A short message may be added after the Honoree's name, both Remembered and Honored.
MEMORY EXAMPLE: Martha Smith, with love forever HONOR EXAMPLE: Jack and Janice, my dear children
3. The recommended donation is $8/Honoree's name (Remembered or Honored). Please include your total donation for all of the people you remembered and honored with a Lights of Love light.
