Jane Goodall
UN Messenger of Peace
“We can work together to make the world a better place. Perhaps there can be peace one day if we learn from our past and commit to compassionate action for our futures.”
Dr. Goodall, a noted primatologist and conservationist, was appointed as a UN Messenger of Peace in 2002. In this role, she supports young people in nearly 100 countries in projects that help people, animals, and the environment.
In addition to her pioneering work as a scientist and environmentalist, Dr. Goodall encourages individuals to promote peace in their communities and around the globe.
