Assists Africans recovering from decades of ethnic violence

"Pastor for Living Hope Church in Centerville, married with five children, dedicated volunteer helping new immigrants adjust to the USA, CEO and president of ARDR Allies, grew up in Dem. Rep. of Congo, bachelor’s degree in International Development." --Rev. Muvunyi


ARDR Allies

Rev. Laurent Muvunyi works with ARDR Allies to support programs addressing poverty in Rwanda.

He raises awareness and money in the USA to fund water management, children’s education and healthcare, HIV/AIDS support, a women’s cooperative, and agriculture in Rwanda. 


Support for immigrants to USA

Pastor for Living Hope Church in Centerville, Ohio, father of five children, dedicated volunteer helping new immigrants adjust to the USA, Rev. Laurent Muvunyi is also CEO and president of ARDR Allies. His background prepared him extensively for this.


Background in international development

“Muvunyi grew up in the Democratic Republic of Congo, earned a bachelor’s degree in International Development from the Congolese Institute of Management, worked in Haiti and Africa, and moved to Rwanda five years after the 1994 genocide.” Kari Carter, Dayton Daily News August 12, 2021

Voice of Central Africa DR Congo by Debra Lynn Heagy and Laurent Muvunyi

Rev. Muvunyi co-authored this 2011 book about people’s experiences of the 2004 massacre in the Gatumba refugee camp in Burundi.
