TIPS Now Accepting New Teens for Fall
Teens Inventing Peaceful Solutions (TIPS) is gearing up for the 2017/18 school year. Our first 7-week session will begin on Saturday, August 26, at 5 p.m. Teens have been meeting this summer to deepen their Kingian nonviolence and leadership skills. Plans for an exciting year include a creative storytelling project, leading a Youth Speak Out on September 10, and delving more deeply into local and global issues in order to help build a just peace. (Come to the TIPS room at the museum to see our Just Peace artwork in progress.)
