São Bento Priory in Vinhedo, São Paulo, Brazil, is part of the monastic community of Saint Vincent Archabbey. Once again, the Archabbey is sponsoring a group of young adults to travel to Brazil on mission!
Young adults, ages 18 to 25, who are parishioners where our Benedictines serve as pastors are eligible. Young Adult Mission Fellows work alongside monks and other ministers as they interact with children at local schools, helped the less fortunate, and spread the joy of the Gospel message.
A limited number of awards will be granted to applicants for travel and expenses. In 2024, we were able to sponsor (with additional fundraising from the fellows themselves) a group of 12!
The awardee is expected to raise ($1,250.00) for the support of missionary activities while on the trip.
