Fall is quickly approaching and so is the ALS Walk. This year for many reasons we are choosing to participate in the ALS Walk virtually. We know there are many charities worthy of your donation, we really appreciate the many of you who choose to support the Joyful Jaywalkers. It warms our hearts and I’m sure Jay is smiling down on all of you. This year a dear friend was dealing with medical complications and told me if they had insurance purchase them a walker they would not be eligible for another mobility device for 5 years, this was a wonderful reminder for me why we continue to support ALS of Michigan. ALS can bankrupt your savings, ALS helps save many families from that. Once again thank you for your continued support! Here is the link to donate online https://ssl.charityweb.net/alsofmichigan/walknroll/joyfuljaywalkers.htm or we would be happy to stop by and pick up your donation or provide you a mail in address.
Yearly Spranger/Campbell Update:
Jason is continuing to reinvent himself. AlphaZ is developing quite a reputation. This year I had the pleasure of assisting him at one of his gigs. It was such a joy to see him shine! He loves what he does and it shows. I ran his selfie station that night, it seemed he was assisting me more than I was assisting him. LOL! He has also been working at St Joe’s in Lake Orion part time doing their live-streaming.
The Campbell house is still a flurry of activity. David is holding his own. Thanks for your prayers. Maria continues to take him in to the cardiologist every 6 months, so far so good! Matthew, Jonathan and Isaac are growing like weeds! They are continuing to homeschool with wonderful success, go Maria! Mike has a new job with Spruce. He seems to really like it!
Theresa is enjoying her job more than words can say! She loves being her own boss. Her traveling has been very limited, hopefully next year we’ll be back to traveling. I think we both miss it.
Devan has moved into his own apartment, which makes me an empty nester again. Sometime I miss him, but I am adjusting quite well. He stills brings me his laundry and stays for dinner and an episode of Psych now and then.
I am blessed to be able to spend lots of time with my children and grandchildren. Life is good, what more could I want.
The Walk this year is Sunday October 3rd at Stoney Creek at 11:00 am . Jason will be there DJing if you choose to walk in person stop by the DJ booth.
Thank you!
