A message from Papa's People
On February 21, 2026, my sons, Jack & Martin, Carmine Sperto and I will be plunging into the cold Atlantic Ocean in Manasquan, NJ to help raise money for the Joan Dancy and PALS organization. This will be the 20th year for the event and the 15th consecutive year that the Roddys have participated.
Joan Dancy and PALS was a huge help to our family as my father, Bob Roddy, battled for 6+ years with ALS ("Lou Gehrig's Disease"). The physical and emotional support they directly provided during that time was immense. As many of you know, my father passed away on September 23, 2014, but many families continue to struggle with ALS. Joan Dancy and PALS continues to provide support to these families in need and we are proud to do what we can to assist them.
We appreciate your continued support and have set ourselves a team goal of $30,000! It's a lofty goal but we are determined to do the best we can to raise as much as we can to give back to this very important organization which is so near and dear to our hearts.
