As many of you know, Neighborhood House has become a place that gives my days meaning. Our work is making a difference for families, helping them gain stability and build strength to move out of poverty.
Each day that I'm at work, I experience the reality of families coming to Neighborhood House to access food that, with the rising costs of housing, they struggle to afford.
That's why we hold March Food Drive. And now, I'm asking for your help.
It is estimated that on any given day, 1 in 10 families in Minnesota is impacted. There were more than 3 million visits to food shelves last year. This year, Neighborhood House we will distribute more than 1 million pounds of food to more than 12,000 people. These are the families and children that are in your community, in your schools, in your city. And senior citizens represent those with the fastest growing need.
Please consider making a gift to my March Food Drive. With our buying power here at Neighborhood House, we can feed a family for a week with just $36.
Thank you for your kindness and support. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. And if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
