The Fifth Annual Jersey Shore Ride for Food Justice is back! 100% of the proceeds raised from the ride will be used to support the Trinity Center for Community. This program includes a food pantry, a community meal (soup kitchen), housing help, homeless prevention, overall personal wellness programs, financial and budgeting courses, community arts and music programs, and much more!

The safety of our riders, volunteers, and supporters is our top priority. Therefore we are offering two options for the ride.  Option one is a 15, 30, or 62 mile bike ride along the beautiful Jersey Shore that begins and ends at Trinity Church in Asbury Park. Option two is a 15, 30, or 62 mile bike ride done on your own on the day of the ride and you share your photos and experiences with us. Of course with either of these options you are welcome to ride any distance that is comfortable for you. We invite riders of all levels to join as individuals or as a team.

I am excited to be organizing the 5th Annual Jersey Shore Ride For Food Justice. In the past 4 years we have raised over $200,000 for food justice communities at Trinity Church. Our Saturday Soup meal has been in operation for 32 years and we serve approximately 200 meals every Saturday. So far this year 192,112 pounds of groceries have been distributed to the community and 52 people have received assistance in finding new housing arrangements and 54 community members have been employed through our Food Justice work program, receiving valuable job skills and building employment histories. It’s your donations that make this possible, I hope you will continue to support this great work.
