Support "Serenity Seekers" in the Celebration of HOPE Walk 2017

We’re taking a stand for recovery at the 4th Annual Celebration of HOPE Walk!

Welcome! My name is Danielle. I am 19 years old and I am the team captain of the Serenity Seekers, named after the Serenity Prayer. I walk for my father who passed away in 2010 from the long term effects of drug and alcohol abuse. I walk for my mother and her every day battle against drug addiction. I walk for my grandfather and his 35 years (and counting) sober. I walk for my many relatives in recovery. I walk for my best friends, both whom lost their mothers to the disease of addiction. I walk for every addict in hopes to show them that they are worthy of happiness and love. I walk for every family member of an addict to show them that there is hope for peace.

On September 9th, we’ll join the sea of yellow on the Seaside Heights boardwalk to celebrate hope and show those affected by addiction that they are not alone in their life-long battle against this disease.

By supporting our team, you will help us shed light on the disease of addiction and bring resources and support to families who need it. Please walk with us, pray for us, or donate. "Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but finding peace within, amid the storm."
