“We’re trying to save somebody in your life. Ours is gone … We don’t want anybody else to go through what we have gone through.”
Sabrina Jordan founded the organization Ohio Families Unite Against Police Brutality after her son Jamarco McShann was killed by police officers in Dayton, Ohio in 2017.
McShann was found asleep in his car. He was killed at the age of 23.
Sabrina Jordan’s organization has been advocating for legislative changes to police procedures since then and she is hopeful that now is the time her voice may be heard. --from Voices for Change, Spectrum News Staff Cincinnati, Jun. 19, 2020
